Communities united can accomplish anything.
Who I AM
-
I am a proud Clarkston High School graduate, Eagle Scout and a Michigan Tech alumnus.
Earning my bachelor’s degree in social sciences, with a concentration in policy and law, I have in-depth experience on the relationships between the development of legislation, public engagement, and policy analysis.
-
Growing up in Clarkston, I appreciate the value of community; treating others with kindness, helping our neighbors, and welcoming the stranger.
An avid volunteer, I support local causes by sharing my knowledge and experiences, while promoting engagement in our district.
Because of these deeply held beliefs, I am confident in my message that communities united can accomplish anything.
-
If elected, I will work with local government and community leaders to protect the 52nd District from excessive development.
I will also work to limit harms and fight for our greatest beneficence in the Davisburg Mine Project.
Collaborating with our neighboring representatives, I will address Michigan’s affordability challenge, working to shield the Great Lakes State from a tumultuous economy.
United with the community, I will guarantee support for our local schools and help restore the American dream for our future generations.
I want to preserve the rural aspects of our district. That means NO to noisy, utility cost raising data centers, and YES to promoting a greener Oakland County.
Why am I running?
Born and raised in Clarkston Michigan, my connection to the community runs deep. Like many residents in northwest Oakland County, we are proud of our roots in Rural America. It is vital that we maintain the tranquility of our community. With a focus on protecting our district from excessive development, I will fight for public welfare, including ethics in the Davisburg Mine project.
I find it incredibly rewarding to be a Substitute Teacher with Clarkston Community Schools, where I’ve experienced firsthand some of the challenges facing our youth. I want to ensure that as we continue to invest in our community, we prioritize a future of boundless opportunities for our next generation of visionaries.
Being a longtime Clarkston resident, I know the priorities of our neighbors. Relentless gas and grocery prices are harming our affordability. Michigan, and especially those in the 52nd district, need to protect themselves from the struggles of a tumultuous economy. I truly believe that this can be tackled. One way we can help is by investing in our local commerce, uplifting resident businesses, and promoting farm to table values.
Growing up in the Clarkston area, coupled with a background in policy and law, I know the results that can be realized when communities work together. With a unity mindset, I want to ensure a strong voice in Lansing fighting for everyone across the 52nd district. In doing so, we can accomplish anything and come out strong.
